Announcing Visual Processing Japan as new WoodWing Gold Authorized Partner
Friday 29. May 2009 - WoodWing Asia Pacific announces it has awarded Gold Authorized Partner status to Tokyo-based systems integrator Visual Processing Japan, Inc. (VPJ). VPJ becomes the latest in a growing network of WoodWing solution providers in Asia as more publishers and corporations look for ways to turn macro-economic challenges into opportunities to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
VPJ was established in 1994 by former key members of Silicon Graphics Japan, Inc. With abundant experience and market knowledge of the image-processing field, VPJ rapidly established itself as a leading systems integrator in the print, publishing, video and film industries and is now extending that leadership position to online media.
“Visual Processing Japan is eager to add WoodWing’s Enterprise Content Publishing Platform to our integration business,” stated VPJ CEO Hiroaki Mimura. “There is great potential in Japan for new approaches to editorial workflow among both traditional publishers and corporations managing high-value documents. We believe WoodWing’s ‘blended media’ strategy based on open standards will appeal to many of our customers.”
Remco Koster, Managing Director, WoodWing Asia Pacific stated, “WoodWing is happy to welcome such a strong new partner for our industry-leading Enterprise 6 and Smart Publishing products in Japan. We believe VPJ is well positioned to address the market for standards-based editorial workflow and advanced enterprise content management in the demanding Japanese market.”
