Tieto delivers SAP Application Management for T-Mobile Austria

Thursday 28. May 2009 - Tieto is providing SAP application management services to T-Mobile Austria for a three year period including incident and management services for the company's entire SAP environment. In addition, Tieto has assumed responsibility for the change management needs related to the company's critical core processes like finance, logistics, order handling and HR modules when consolidating the application management services.

All the related services, for which T-Mobile used to have multiple providers, are now consolidated and run by Tieto at a fixed monthly rate, combining on-site and near-shore capabilities for cost-efficient solutions. The services are delivered by ITIL standards*) being complemented by Tieto’s own processes and methodologies. With this setting the customer will have every possibility of dependable support as well as measurable cost efficiencies. With guaranteed service levels customers can minimize the downtime and increase the level of productivity of their operations.

The change of responsibility was made in a record time, demonstrating Tieto’s capability to handle complex changes, taking responsibility and utilizing its know-how to deliver professional managed services and solutions to support customers’ business.
