Mohawk Collection Now Available Through Europapier

Friday 22. May 2009 - Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. has again expanded its global presence with the announcement that its Mohawk Collection will now be available through Europapier International GmbH.

The largest paper merchant in Eastern Europe will now offer the exclusive collection in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

The Mohawk Collection, comprised of Mohawk Via and Mohawk Options is a unique selection of high-quality premium environmental papers known for their printability. The product line that Europapier will offer carries 30% and 100% postconsumer waste fiber papers, is entirely FSC-certified, and manufactured with windpower. Plus, the Mohawk Via papers are made carbon neutral.

Mohawk’s strong environmental history was a key factor for Europapier — a company with an equally strong commitment to sustainable solutions. “Mohawk was the first U.S. mill to use wind-generated electricity for manufacturing and the first premium paper mill to move toward carbon neutral production. Mohawk Via Laid: A traditional laid finish, 30% pcw paper available in 90 gsm and four shades.

Mohawk Via Smooth: A smooth uniform formation, 30% pcw paper available in 90 gsm and three shades.

Mohawk Via Felt: A distinctive felt-marked texture, 30% pcw paper available in six basis weights and seven shades from Pure White to Dark Chocolate.

Mohawk Via Linen: A refined linen texture, 30% pcw paper available in five basis weights and 11 shades from 96-bright Pure White to Black.
