Pitney Bowes Earns Top BMA Pro-Comm Award
Wednesday 20. May 2009 - Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) today announced that it has earned the Business Marketing Association Pro-Comm award in the Total Communications Program award category for the companys integrated marketing and ad campaign. The award is presented to the "best of division" in business-to-business marketing.
“We are extremely proud to have been selected as an award winner in the Total Communications Program award category by the BMA,” said Juanita James, chief marketing and communications officer, Pitney Bowes. “The award recognizes the strength of our positioning as a B2B technology leader within and beyond the mailstream.”
The Pitney Bowes campaign, which launched on January 30, communicates the companys leadership in mail, as well as its increasing capabilities beyond mail. The campaign uses high-impact visuals integrated across a variety of communications channels including social media to engage target audiences. In addition to webinars and events, nine different versions of the ad component were placed in national online and print media.
In the months following the launch of the campaign, the interactive web component www.pbconnect.com saw consistent traffic and drove leads to the organizations sales force. Live blogging on the site from the World Innovation Forum in New York City showcased the campaigns strength in creating an open dialogue with customers, shareholders and other stakeholders.
Now in its 34th year, the BMA Pro-Comm Award program is the oldest, largest and most prestigious business-to-business communications awards program. Judged by a panel of business marketing leaders, it recognizes the best in national B2B advertising and creative work.
