Eastman Increases OXO Alcohol Prices on June 1

Monday 18. May 2009 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective June 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials.

Eastman 2-Ethylhexanol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America and Latin America.

Eastman n-Butyl Alcohol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America and Latin America.

Eastman Isobutyl Alcohol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America and Latin America.

Eastman 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid: Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America and Latin America.
