HP Announces Plans to Offer SAP BusinessObjects Explorer Preinstalled on Its Infrastructure Systems
Wednesday 13. May 2009 - HP today announced its intentions to offer a customized, preconfigured technology bundle for the new SAP BusinessObjects Explorer software.
The new packaged offering can accelerate and improve strategic decision making by providing organizations with immediate and intuitive access to business information.

The combination of HP ProLiant servers, HP BladeSystem and HP StorageWorks used together with SAP software is designed to help customers connect the information stored in their SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse software-based environments. Organizations can easily reconcile data silos and allow the knowledge gained to flow across their businesses so that it can be leveraged by employees, including ones who are not highly trained business analysts, for the best results.

When SAP BusinessObjects Explorer is deployed on the new HP ProLiant G6 servers running on the HP BladeSystem platform, customers can realize returns on their server hardware investment through energy cost savings in a matter of months. The HP ProLiant G6 servers offer increased performance through Intel processors, optimized power efficiency through HP Thermal Logic technologies, and simplified monitoring, provisioning and recovery with HP Insight Control.

Pricing and availability
The HP offering for SAP BusinessObjects Explorer will be available shortly after public availability of SAP BusinessObjects Explorer. SAP BusinessObjects Explorer is scheduled to begin shipping on June 15. Pricing information will be available at that time.
