BOWE BELL + HOWELL Signs New Joint Marketing Agreement with SAP America

Monday 11. May 2009 - Together, JETVision and SAP(R) Solutions Will Enable Customers to Automatically Monitor, Track and Manage Production Operations

BOWE BELL + HOWELL (BBH) today announced it has finalized a new joint marketing agreement with SAP America, Inc. Through this agreement, the companies will help customers optimize productivity and enhance analysis capabilities of SAP(R) solution deployments. The combination of JETVision(R), an advanced vision technology from BBH with SAP applications, will help safeguard for customers the quality, integrity and efficiency of manufacturing operations and allow them to further maximize the value of their SAP solutions-based environments.

“We are pleased to extend our relationship through this agreement, which will help customers to further tap the full potential of their SAP business applications,” said Mike Maselli, BBH executive director for software business solutions. “We have worked together to create real-time, automated monitoring of quality and productivity metrics that will improve the value our joint customers receive from their enterprise applications.”

Through this agreement, SAP continues to enhance its “Perfect Plant” initiative, a broader program designed to help manufacturers combine global manufacturing coordination with local execution to improve end-to-end manufacturing operations and financial performance. The initiative provides manufacturers with enhanced operations intelligence, a 360-degree view into all plant operations, and provides tight integration between planning, execution and business processes for cost-effective, efficient and coordinated “sense and response” to customer demands.

The agreement takes effect immediately in the United States. Under the terms of this agreement, BBH will work together with SAP America to identify and qualify opportunities to automate those processes that will provide customers with added quality control and productivity monitoring, resulting in reduced customer risk, automated data collection and enhanced analysis capabilities. The agreement includes many facets of joint marketing, cross training, sales-enablement programs and partnership-performance management.

JETVision will be demonstrated together with SAP solutions at the SAPPHIRE(R) 2009 conference, being held May 11 through May 14 in Orlando. JETVision will be shown in the Acsis booth (No. 609).
