Xenith Sierra is the premier workflow offering in Xitron’s expanding line of RIP and workflow solutions. Based on JDF and the Adobe PDF Print Engine technology, Xenith Sierra is an excellent solution for larger printers who need comprehensive control over every job. Automating prepress tasks with cutting-edge technology, Xenith Sierra provides the tools and power to substantially increase throughput, improve quality, reduce errors, and maximize performance. Extremely easy to use, Xenith Sierra supports more than 250 output devices from various manufacturers including proofers, imagesetters, platesetters, digital presses, and production copiers devices.

“Xenith Sierra provides printers with a state-of-the-art prepress workflow solution,” stated Mark Eisenschenk, Xitron’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Xenith Sierra offers significant automation and productivity capabilities to meet even the most demanding of prepress departments.”

Xenith Sierra also provides connectivity to Xitron’s new web-to-print, online job submission, preflighting and proofing solution, PRINTERnet. PRINTERnet enhances the printer’s prepress department capabilities by connecting their clients with the printer’s prepress department through a highly automated web-based system. Jobs are submitted to the system through a simple user interface where basic job ticket information is entered by the customer. This information is then submitted along with the job to the printer’s CSR or prepress department.

Special upgrade programs for existing Xenith and Xenith Sierra users are being offered through June 30, 2009.
