Protec modernizes its corporate image and makes its trading name the same as its domain name

Protec has decided to modernize its corporate image, and to this end it has modified its logo and changed the companys trading name to Protecmedia for all territories, making it the same as the companys domain name.
As regards the logo, this has been simplified by using forms that have notably softened the contours of all the letters. In addition, the “wings” that wrapped around the logo have also disappeared, once again with a view to simplification.
The changes have also affected the colours. The new logo continues to be in green, the colour traditionally identified with the company. The word Protec is in this colour. Blue was chosen for the background to give harmony and balance to the design. The word media represents the business sector – the mass media – in which the company has long experience.
To replace the eliminated wings, a pictogram in the form of waves has been introduced, as a metaphor for communication waves. This pictogram reflects the idea of integration that many companies in the sector are currently trying to achieve so that they can continue competing in an increasingly global market.
As for the name, the decision was taken to have just one trading name. Until now, the company was called Protec everywhere except the United States, where it was called Protecmedia (which is also its Internet domain name). From now on, Protecmedia will be the companys only trading name, reflecting the continuation of a single approach for all areas.
