Quark Names Kevin Mammel Chief Financial Officer
Thursday 26. March 2009 - Quark today announced that Kevin Mammel has joined the company as chief financial officer. Mammel brings more than 17 years of experience to Quark, including expertise in financial planning and analysis, accounting, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mammel is now responsible for leading Quarks financial operations, including overseeing and managing all global finance, accounting, and treasury functions.
Prior to joining Quark, Mammel was the vice president of finance for Skyetek Corporation where he led the companys accounting and operations functions. Prior to Skyetek, Kevin served in several senior-level finance positions with McData Corporation, including vice president of finance, treasurer, controller, director of financial planning and analysis, and director of investor relations. Kevin also held leadership positions with Qwest Communications in its finance, accounting, and corporate development organizations.
Mammel reports to Quark CEO Ray Schiavone who said, “I am excited to have Kevin join the Quark leadership team. Kevin brings a wealth of experience that will be beneficial in helping us manage through this challenging economy as well as position us for continued growth and expansion.”

Mammel earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
