ContiTech Printing Blanket Northeim Certified
Wednesday 11. March 2009 - CONTI-AIR production certified by Technical Inspection Agency North [TÜV Nord] to DIN ISO 9001 Successful management in printing blanket segment
As of March 4, 2009, printing blanket production at ContiTechs Northeim plant and the product market segments management system are certified to DIN ISO 9001. An expert from TÜV Nord spent two days at the plant, inspecting, among other things, all sequences in the sheet material area, the formatting center and the metal printing blanket department as well as the management processes.
“We are delighted with the results,” says Dr. Thomas Perkovic, head of the printing blanket segment at ContiTech. “We were able to show ourselves as even much more effective and efficient than in the preliminary audit in January, which itself went very well. Certification bears witness to the enormous progress we have made. We shall improve even further so as to always be capable of supplying our customers with high-quality products.” The certificate is valid for three years but is reviewed by TÜV annually.
