SuperShorty 35 for A Distinguished Look
Thursday 26. February 2009 - BERICAP has enlarged its SuperShorty closure family with the SuperShorty 35. SuperShorty 35 is designed for safe venting of CSD drinks containing up to 8 g CO2/l.
Safe venting means that the risk of blow-off has been reduced drastically and also giving a user friendly element if consumers unscrew the closure with excessive speed. The one-piece closure is equipped with all main features and benefits of the SuperShorty family: the well proven DoubleSeal system ensures product integrity and guarantees good CO2 retention also under hot climate conditions. The well proven Tamper Evident (TE) slit -band supports easy application and guarantees easy opening for the consumer. Once opened the TE-band is retained on the neck.
The one-start neck corresponds with SuperShorty 35 and has a neck weight of only 5 gm.
Market studies have shown that the 35mm neck finish is seen as offering true ready to drink convenience for the consumer. This SuperShorty 35 is both a technical and marketing solution for brand owners and packers wishing to distinguish their brands on the shelf.
Beside the new SuperShorty 35, BERICAP already has long term field experience in supplying the SuperShorty 28 closure range consisting of SuperShorty Crown, mainly used by beer fillers, the SuperShorty CSD used by bottlers of carbonated drinks, the SuperShorty CSD Eco as a low weight alternative for carbonated water and carbonated drinks and the SuperShorty Still for still drinks. Also available is a SuperShorty 28 for hotfill applications.
