A ROTOMAN for Bashkortostan
Thursday 12. February 2009 - First commercial web press for the easternmost city in Europe
The Bashkortostan State Republican Publishing House has installed a ROTOMAN and thus decided for a manroland press once again. This publishing house in Ufa, Russia, already has a UNISET. The 16-page ROTOMAN is the first commercial web press in the region and now prints in the easternmost city in Europe.
Deciding factors in favor of the ROTOMAN were the groundbreaking manroland printing technology, the reliable service, and the very good relationship between the two companies. The publishing house uses the new press to print high-quality magazines on LWC (Light Weight Coated) paper in runs from 6,000 to 50,000 copies. manroland trained the customers staff to operate the press, focusing on operation of the folder, gluing unit and dryer. The press is the first in the region to be equipped with a gas dryer.
Press strengthens customers economic situation
Michael Beier von manroland Russia is pleased to report that: “For manroland, the installation of this ROTOMAN represents a breakthrough in commercial web technology outside Moscow.” With this new press, Bashkortostan can strengthen its position as a modern commercial printing company in the region. Anatoly I. Bezrukavnikov, General Director of Bashkortostan State Republican Publishing House, believes the ROTOMAN will make his company very competitive.
