ECRM RESTRUCTURES WORLDWIDE SALES AND MARKETING TO MEET NEW CENTRALIZED GLOBAL STRATEGY
Wednesday 11. February 2009 - ECRM today announced the adoption of a global centralized sales and marketing strategy to re-energize business efforts worldwide. Under the new plan, the market will be divided into four geographical segments.
North America, Latin America, Europe/Middle East/Africa will report directly to Doug Barr, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The Asia Pacific region will continue to report to Joseph Chevalier, Vice President.
“The sales and marketing demands of a more global economy make a centralized approach increasingly more beneficial to ECRM, our dealer partners and customers, stated ECRM President and CEO Rick Black. “Instituting this new strategy will aid us in maintaining our position in established markets, while enabling us to strengthen our share in emerging countries. We continue to gain share in the expanding violet CTP segment, while enjoying steady revenue streams from our domination of both polyester CTP and worldwide imagesetter sales. Our restructuring will support a more unified and consistent worldwide sales strategy.
With these changes, effective February 1, 2009, Derek Sizer will leave ECRM to pursue other opportunities. ECRM is grateful to Derek Sizer for his many years of loyal service.
Doug Barr joined ECRM in 2005 as the Director of Sales, Latin America and Caribbean Region. In November 2006, Mr. Barr was promoted to Vice President, Western Hemisphere Sales. Prior to ECRM, Barr held positions of increasing responsibility with Kodak Polychrome Graphics, the Imation Corporation and the 3M Company. He is experienced in Sales and International Sales Management, International Business Development in Latin America and Asia Pacific, Product Marketing Management, and Technical Service Management.
