Vertis Communications Promotes David Glogoff to Chief Legal Officer

Wednesday 04. February 2009 - Vertis Communications, a premier provider of targeted print advertising and direct marketing solutions to America's leading retail and consumer services companies, announced today that David Glogoff has been promoted to chief legal officer.

In his new role, Glogoff will lead the company’s office of the general counsel in all of its legal operations. He will also serve as secretary for Vertis’ Board of Directors.

Glogoff joined Vertis in 2000 and previously served as vice president and deputy general counsel. A graduate of Tulane Law School, he is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania state bars.

“With the successful completion of Vertis’ financial restructuring and merger, we anticipate more active collaboration with our clients regarding innovative products and customized technology solutions,” said Alex Sorokin, interim president for Vertis. “David brings strong legal experience and a proactive business approach to the chief legal officer role with a focus on partnering with internal and external clients to ensure that all business objectives are met or exceeded. Prior to joining Vertis, Glogoff was a corporate associate in the Princeton, N.J. law firm of Smith, Stratton, Wise, Heher & Brennan, serving in the business and finance group. At the New York City law firm of Flood, Johnston & McShane, Glogoff was a litigation associate where he specialized in environmental law and general litigation.
