Monday 26. January 2009 - Kodak today announces that it is making arrangements to offer ongoing service and support for all users of Plasmons optical storage and archive appliance products, in the light of the Plasmon ceasing to trade.
Kodak has acquired the services of former Plasmon engineers to add to its large global service and support team and has bought additional spares so that end-user organisations can continue to derive value from their investments in Plasmon storage solutions.
For the past 5 years, as an exclusive sub-contractor to Plasmon, Eastman Kodak has provided maintenance services and support to Plasmon’s customers worldwide. Kodak has extensive Plasmon related service and support expertise having operated as the companys worldwide authorised service provider since 2001, maintaining thousands of storage systems internationally. With skilled Plasmon trained technicians and a large inventory of spare parts, Kodak is uniquely positioned to be able to continue to meet your maintenance needs.
