Xplor 2009 Global Conference to Feature Industry and Technology Trends Course

Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today detailed one of its seven courses to be featured at their annual Global Conference and Exhibition in Tampa Bay, Florida, March 4-7, 2009. The course titled, Industry and Technology Trends, will provide attendees with an understanding of how technology combined with changes in human behavior, have radically changed how people receive, disseminate, retain and respond to information. The three-day course will be held on Thursday, March 5 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Friday, March 6 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday, March 7 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The Industry and Technology Trends course will feature industry experts and end users to explore the all-encompassing evolution of technology and its impact on the transactional document industry. Attendees can also learn about the pros and con’s of PURLS, wiki’s and blogs for engaging customers and prospects. In addition, new developments in security, the impact of social networks, and the convergence of PDL’s, RFID in document production, emerging media, print and output technologies will also be explored. This course will also cover both the technologies that govern how we communicate with customers and prospects and the trends that drive change. The course is ideally suited for senior managers, presidents, CEO’s, CIO’s, IT directors, HR management, company owners or those interested in understanding the impact of technology trends on customer communications.
