Donald Murray Paper supports young talented artists in Glasgow
Wednesday 21. January 2009 - Donald Murray Paper, a division of national paper merchant PaperCo, supplied 54,000 sheets of Lumisilk 200gsm paper for the Glasgow Schools Calendar 2009, featuring work from children from nursery to secondary school age.
The calendar features 13 works of art from pupils at 13 different schools (one for the cover and then 12 for the months of the year). The artwork used was selected from 2,000 pieces submitted. The calendar was designed and published by Glasgow City Council.
“At Donald Murray Paper we take very seriously our links with education and we are really pleased to see such a fantastic and vibrant calendar this year reflecting a great deal of young talent,” says Karen McNee, corporate sales. “PaperCo has strong Corporate Responsibility credentials and this project reflects that.”
