Konica Minolta Introduces bizhub 751/601 Series of Black-and-White MFPs
Tuesday 13. January 2009 - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today launched the bizhub 751/601 series of monochrome multifunctional products (MFPs print, copy, fax, and scan all in one system).
The bizhub 751 and bizhub 601 systems are ideal for mid- to high-volume office environments that require high speeds and professional finishing capabilities needed for long, uninterrupted print runs.
Based on the same engine as the bizhub 750/600 series, these new models offer the same unfailing performance and reliability as their predecessors. Featuring monthly duty cycles up to 300,000 impressions, 7,600-sheet paper capacity with options, PageScope Software Suite and advanced network scanning capabilities the bizhub 751, which prints at 75 pages per minute (PPM), and bizhub 601, which prints at 60 ppm, offer a new standard for high-volume environments. The bizhub 751/601 Series delivers fast prints, functionality and reliability in a relatively small footprint. In addition, advanced functionality such as support for IPv6 next-generation Network Protocol dramatically increases IP addressing power and ensures all bizhub devices on the network have their own IP address, to facilitate communication and security.
“Today organizations have a clear need for faster prints and turnaround times, improved quality and reduced operating costs to help boost their productivity,” said Kevin Kern, vice president, marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. “These new monochrome office systems have been designed to specifically provide large corporate workgroups and departments with a cost-effective document resource for all their printing needs.”
Functional highlights include: Konica Minolta’s exclusive Emperon Print System; fast, flexible scanning up to 75 originals per minute (opm); an all new look and feel similar to that of color bizhub systems, featuring the white InfoLine providing users with at-a-glance machine status; 8.5″ color touch-screen control panel interface that tilts and rotates for easy accessibility; User Box and User Authentication functionality; Konica Minolta?s proprietary Simitri Polymerized Toner; and production-quality finishing options.
