Xerox Secures Spot on Buffalo Bills Line Up
Monday 22. December 2008 - Five-year contract enhances NFL team's back office print operations
The Buffalo Bills have renewed a multi-million dollar contract naming Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) its preferred print services provider overseeing the football team’s office settings and print production center.
The Buffalo Bills rely on Xerox’s expertise to maximize productivity at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo, N.Y. The organization uses the latest Xerox color multifunction printers (MFPs) such as the WorkCentre 7665, which lets employees print, copy, scan and fax all from a stand-alone device. The WorkCentre 7665 produces color prints at up to 50-ppm and black and white pages at up to 65-ppm.
In the Buffalo Bills’ print production center, Xerox technology prints marketing materials, playbooks and half-time reports in record time with digital production presses such as the DocuColor 7000AP Digital Press. Xerox also offers Buffalo Bills suite owners with in-game statistical updates, a fantasy football report and on-demand action photos delivered the day of the game. An onsite Xerox document advisor makes sure the print center is running at peak performance at all times.
“For more than 20 years the Buffalo Bills have relied on Xerox to deliver quality service with accuracy and reliability – that’s exactly what we need in our back office and print shop operations,” said Pete Guelli, Buffalo Bills senior vice president of business ventures.
The renewal also includes short term rentals of Xerox’s WorkCentre MFPs and Xerox’s Phaser color printers used during summer training camps at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y.
