Océ, an international leader in digital document management, introduced today a new line of network workgroup printers with the ability to provide the office environment with a higher level of productivity. With the new Océ VarioLink TM 2650cp/3050cp devices, businesses can obtain manageable and affordable color in a convenient workgroup color printer. The Océ VarioLink 3550p/4550p black & white workgroup printers help increase businesses productivity and print documents efficiently when and where they are needed.

Boost business with color
It is now easier to gain color printing productivity in a networked workgroup device. With the Océ VarioLink 2650cp/3050cp color printers, businesses gain the ability to print in vibrant color while achieving a new level of efficiency. Single pass color digital LED technology allows for the creation of attention grabbing color prints with a high level of reliability. A first print out time of 9 seconds and print speeds of 26ppm in color and 32ppm in black & white for the Océ VarioLink 2650cp and 30ppm in color and 32ppm in black & white on the Océ VarioLink 3050cp ensure that users get their prints when they need them. Powerful processors of 500 MHz on the Océ VarioLink 2650cp device and 700 MHz on the Océ VarioLink 3050cp device along with memory capacity of up to 768 MB on each printer, equips users with power for all their document needs. Standard network connectivity brings all of this power to the entire workgroup.
The Océ VarioLink 2650cp/3050cp devices allow users to print on a variety of media including letter and legal size paper as well as postcards, CD labels and banners up to four feet in length. Océ is aware of the importance of keeping key business information safe and the Océ VarioLink 2650cp/3050cp devices are equipped with the most up to date security features. The Océ VarioLink 2650cp/3050cp devices are equipped with SSL encryption and MAC authentication. The optional hard disk drive offers secure erase and allows for password enabled encrypted printing. To conserve paper, the Océ VarioLink 2650cp/3050cp devices have a duplex option or are available with duplex standard on the Océ VarioLink 2650cpd/3050cpd models.

The Océ VarioLink 3550p/4550p black & white printers provide quick turnaround times with the ability to print 45 and 35 pages per minute and a first print out time of under 8 seconds. Standard network connectivity allows anyone on the network to be productive and efficient. The LED print heads provide reliability and give users confidence in knowing they can produce astounding print quality with 1200 x 1200 dpi output. The LCD user panel provides job status at a glance and supplies can be changed easily, so that businesses can spend more time on other valuable tasks rather than attending to the printer.
A small design and footprint allows the Océ VarioLink 3550p/4550p devices to fit neatly into virtually any space the workgroup requires. Users will not sacrifice power and performance for a small package because these devices possess tremendous growth potential with the expansion of up to 640 MB of memory, multiple paper cassettes, hard disk drive and duplex unit. The Océ VarioLink 3550pd/4550pd devices come with a standard duplex feature.
