New electric pusher: airlessly quiet
Tuesday 18. November 2008 - Ecopush, the newly developed electric pusher for rejecting containers tagged as defective, as a crucial advantage over previous rejection systems: it does not need any compressed air, and is therefore particularly quiet.
Instead, a linear motor with a movable, magnetic rotor initiates the rejection function. The containers tagged for rejection do not necessarily have to be flush against the rail. And even fallen containers can be rejected as well.
Ecopush permits type-dependent parameterisation of stroke, acceleration and zero reference point to the conveyor. This eliminates the need for mechanical adjustment in relation to the conveyor at changeovers. In the premium variant, the height setting can also be parameterised using an additional motor. With a speed of up to 72,000 bottles an hour, the compressed-airless electric pusher is unique in the beverage industry.
