Rexam Pharma Packaging India expands activities in Bangalore
Monday 17. November 2008 - After 2 years in India, Rexam is investing heavily on a plant extension to meet the most stringent regulated market requirements and offer new products in India, such as child-resistant closures and additional production capacity for ophthalmic products.
With a state-of-the-art 1000 sqmclass 8 clean room fully compliant with cGMPstandards, Rexam Pharma Packaging India, will reinforce its leadership in Ophthalmology and increase capacity by 50% early 2009.
Rexam Pharma will also replicate its successful development model and open a new Technology Center in Bangalore to supply Indian pharmaceutical companies with a strong design and development expertise and to boost product innovation.
