USA TODAY Remains Most Widely Read Newspaper in the United States

Friday 14. November 2008 - USA TODAY remains the most widely read newspaper in the United States, according to the Fall 2008 Mediamark Research Inc. (MRI) report released today. USA TODAY reaches more than 3.6 million readers daily.

USATODAY.com has shown an 8% increase in audience as compared to MRI’s Spring 2008 study. USA TODAY’s daily network audience number, comprised of USA TODAY readers and visitors to USATODAY.com, is nearly 5.5 million.

“USA TODAY is proud to remain the most widely read newspaper in the country,” said Craig Moon, president and publisher of USA TODAY. “The latest research from MRI shows that our audience numbers are strong and USA TODAY is moving into 2009 with continued gains in both print and online readership.”
