Rexam Appoints Misha Riveros Jacobson as Managing Director, Personal Care Division, Plastic Packaging

Rexam, a global leader in consumer packaging, recently announced that it has appointed Misha Riveros Jacobson to lead its Plastic Packaging’s Personal Care division.

Friday 07. November 2008 - Rexam, a global leader in consumer packaging, recently announced that it has appointed Misha Riveros Jacobson to lead its Plastic Packaging’s Personal Care division.

As the Managing Director of Personal Care, Jacobson will lead operations that include more than 20 plants across the globe and nearly 10,000 employees.

Jacobson brings to Rexam more than 20 years of relevant experience including her most recent position as president of Alcoa Auto and Truck Structures based in Cleveland, Ohio. Before joining Alcoa, she was general manager of GE Plastics Mexico. She is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has broad international experience having lived and worked in Peru, Colombia, Guatemala, France, Spain and Japan.

Jacobson is a Henry King Stanford alumnus of the University of Miami’s medical program and an honors graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Jacobson joined Rexam on November 10, and will officially take over this new position on December 1. Jacobson will be based in Perrysburg, Ohio and will report to Graham Chipchase.
