Metso Power starts temporary lay-offs negotiations at the Tampere boiler workshop
Friday 07. November 2008 - Metso Power Oy will start personnel discussions regarding temporary lay-offs of all personnel at the Tampere boiler workshop. These lay-offs result from a reduction in the amount of work, caused by changes in the schedules of projects in the order backlog.
The members of staff to be laid off, and the duration and timing of these lay-offs will depend on the workload of each department. The lay-offs will commence in January 2009 at the earliest.
