Black Press Ltd expands use of DTI Advertising solution to 85 additional publications
Thursday 06. November 2008 - Digital Technology International, the world's leading developer of audience-centric multi-media, multi-channel publishing solutions, today announced that Black Press Ltd. in Victoria, British Columbia, is installing DTI Advertising solutions at 85 of its publications in Washington and Oregon, increasing Black Press Ltd. publications using DTI solutions to over 200.
Encompassing four of British Columbia’s major newspaper regions, Black Press Ltd. serves small communities as well as British Columbia’s major urban centers, Victoria and Vancouver. Its papers are widely read in some of the fastest-growing communities in Canada.
Already using DTI’s Ad Management and DTI Classified solutions at their Canadian newspapers, Black Press Ltd. is now rolling out the solutions to their Washington and Oregon properties. Replacing their existing advertising systems with these DTI solutions ensures the same ease and functionality in their daily processes they are accustomed to from DTI. This standardization allows more revenue-generating opportunities for Black Press Ltd. to cross-sell between properties.
“With the new installation of DTI Advertising, we will have standardized reporting, and can cross-sell effectively,” said Barbara Baniulis, vice-president, business information systems, Black Press Ltd. “Our existing software couldn’t provide the functionality that DTI’s solutions could. DTI has given us the ability to standardize across the group.”
“Having a more flexible advertising system with integrated solutions will allow Black Press to cross-sell advertising and increase revenue immediately,” said Bud DePietto, DTI executive vice president. “Using DTI Advertising software will allow Black Press to implement a best practices approach their older system did not allow them to accomplish.”
