EMC Acquires Additional Vmware Shares

Tuesday 04. November 2008 - EMCCorporation (NYSE: EMC), the world leader in information infrastructure solutions, announced today that it has purchased 500,000 additional shares of VMware Class A common stock, bringing EMC’s ownership of VMware's total outstanding common stock to approximately 84%. The 500,000 shares were purchased from Intel Corporation.
