Eleven Dealers Gain EFI Fogra Certification

Tuesday 14. October 2008 - Specialists Deliver Standardised Contract Proofing Across Europe

EFI (NASDAQ: EFII) announced today that colour proofing specialists from eleven more EFI certified resellers across Europe gained EFI Fogra Dealer Certification after successfully completing training at EFI’s Ratingen facilities in Germany. EFI now has 65 certified contract proofing dealers in Europe and Africa, 75% of Fogra’s total numbers.
 

The EFI Fogra DealerCert Programme helps business partners adhere to the latest ISO standards, such as ISO 12647, to meet the exacting needs of our industry for standardisation in the exchange of print data.
 

At the end of their two-day training, specialists from EFI partners in Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia and the UK had acquired the competence to set up a standardised proofing system which delivers high-quality, reliable, contract proofs. Reference proofs from each system they install in the market will be sent to Fogra for examination and independent certification, after which the installation is listed on the Fogra home page – a certification of the company’s proofing processes and a distinct competitive advantage. Proofing and printing in accordance with such standards provides print buyers and printers with a measurable guarantee of achievable final results, reducing proofing cycles, make ready times and waste.
