Ricoh to unveil its newly launched synthetic direct thermal product for the hospital environment
Wednesday 10. September 2008 - Ricoh Electronics, Inc (Ricoh) has launched a new Direct Thermal Synthetic product, the 140LES, and will demonstrate it at the Labelexpo Americas show.
Ricoh is recognized around the world for its production and technological superiority in thermal media products.
The company reports that the 140LES shows a significant improvement from other direct thermal films currently on the market. Its high quality resolution is unique at multiple print speeds (from 2 to 10 inches per second). In addition, the enhanced resolution combined with superior environmental and heat resistance makes the product a versatile material for any application, but specifically for hospital environments. Ricohs patented coating technology provides an increase in thermal head life.
Because of its special blend of high sensitivity and high environmental resistance, the 140LES is also recommended for various applications such as food, industrial warehouse, airline industry and healthcare.
