Quebecor Announces Departure of Luc Lavoie

Monday 01. September 2008 - Quebecor Inc. (TSX:QBR.A)(TSX:QBR.B) announces the departure of Luc Lavoie, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs. Mr. Lavoie joined Quebecor in December 2000, after having served as a consultant for the Company for over a year.

“My eight years with Quebecor have been very exciting and rewarding,” says Mr. Lavoie. “The trust that the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Pierre Karl Peladeau, placed in me gave me the opportunity to play a role in building one of Canada’s largest media and communications companies. Mr. Lavoie will help the organization in settling in a successor.
