Fujifilm UK partners with Clare Taylor Consulting to improve environmental education within the print industry
Friday 15. August 2008 - Fujifilm UK today announces that it is working with independent environmental consultant Clare Taylor to develop educational material designed to dispel some of the myths surrounding environmental issues in the print industry, helping printers improve their understanding of some of the key subjects.
Graham Leeson, marketing manager at Fujifilm, says: “We wanted to build on the success of our highly successful environmental roadshow earlier in the year by facilitating the development of further resources and information in all the key environmental subject areas. Clare Taylor is the most knowledgeable person in this area, so it was a logical move to partner with Clare on this exciting new project. Our joint aim is to cut through the “greenwash” in order to provide intelligent, unbiased information for printers who have a genuine desire to know more about how they can become greener.”
Clare comments: “There is so much environmental information available that could be invaluable to printers, if only they knew where to find it, and many people with vast knowledge of such issues in specialist subjects relevant to printing. This is an exciting opportunity to bring all this together as a resource to the industry. Im delighted to be working with Fujifilm on this project, helping to provide UK printers with the right information about how they can improve their environmental footprints and ensure the future of print as a sustainable industry.”
Further information on the project will be available shortly.
