NEWMAN LABELLING S350 MAKES UK DEBUT AT PPMA 2008 Hall 5 – Stand E103
Thursday 14. August 2008 - Newman Labelling Systems, a leading supplier of specialist pharmaceutical labelling systems, will be displaying its S350 at this year's PPMA at the NEC, Birmingham, 30th September - 2nd October.
Launched earlier this year and on show for the first time in the UK, the S350 is a fully automatic, versatile labelling system for the application of both paper and clear plastic labels to cylindrical products in glass, plastic, metal and composite materials.
The S350 has been designed to operate 24/7 at a true production rate of up to 300 containers per minute with high levels of efficiency according to DIN 8743.
Systematic line clearance is reduced to a minimum by virtue of the unique cGMP design and layout of the machine, which has the added benefit of making it compact and therefore ideal for lines where space is at a premium.
The S350 comes with a range of features as standard such as ‘Auto-teach’ label length facility, a positive accept security system and In Process Control.
The latest data-bus technology has been utilised within the S350, so as to simplify the integration of security and ancillary devices. These include printout facility, Vision System for OCV / OCR, continuous label supply via the Easisplice 470 unit, queue switch control, rotary infeed and outfeed tables and a choice of thermal transfer, laser, inkjet, or hot foil for overprint coding.
As you would expect from Newman, the S350 is supplied with a full validation documentation and implementation package.
To see the S350 and be introduced to the company’s full range of labelling machines specifically designed to meet the requirements of the international pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory bodies, please go to Newman Labelling’s stand E103, Hall 5 at the PPMA show.
