Heiler Software with strong growth (+44%) and record profits for the third quarter 2007/08

August 2008 - Heiler Software AG, one of the leading providers of electronic product information solutions and catalogue management systems increased based on preliminary figures consolidated sales revenues in the third quarter of fiscal year 2007/08 (04/01/2008 - 06/30/2008) from 2.49 million Euro to 3.59 million Euro (+44%) and thus realized the strongest quarter of its corporate history.

Software license revenues showed with an increase from 0.75 million Euro to 1.21 million Euro (+61%) an especially strong growth when compared to the corresponding period of the prior year. Maintenance revenues increased from 0.41 million Euro to 0.49 million Euro (+20%) and the Hosting and so called Application Service Providing (ASP)-revenues increased from 0.22 million Euro to 0.26 million Euro (+18%). Due to the good order situation, consulting revenues also increased strongly from 1.07 million Euro to 1.57 million Euro (+47%).

The strong increase in sales revenues led to an improvement of gross profits from 1.46 million Euro in the prior year to 2.14 million Euro and to an increase in gross margin from 59% to 60%. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) improved from -0.19 million Euro to 0.31 million Euro. Accordingly, EBIT-margin improved from -8% to +9%. Earnings before taxes and net income both increased from -0.07 million Euro to 0.44 million Euro. Thus, Heiler Software not only recognized its strongest quarter in terms of sales but also its most profitable quarter of its corporate history.
