KODAK Scan Station 100 with NSi AUTOSTORE Software Increases Speed, Simplicity of Health Records Processing for Kaiser Permanente
Tuesday 05. August 2008 - Patient check in and insurance claims processing at Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers in Georgia just got faster and easier with the installation of 70 new KODAK Scan Station 100 networked scanners with NSi AUTOSTORE Software.
“Upon admission, patient information is now easily scanned, entered and immediately accessible across the system, thanks to the Scan Station 100s one touch processing and networked information storage,” said Lynn Lonadier, Revenue Cycle Director, Kaiser Permanente-GA Region. “The solution helps us keep our healthcare premiums affordable by simplifying information capture, processing and sharing among departments, and by streamlining our overall workflow. In an extensive search of fax machines, copiers and scanners, the company ultimately selected the KODAK Scan Station networked scanner for its ability to deliver multiple functions, such as scanning documents and managing the search and use of digitized information. KODAK Service and Support also provides maintenance and support for the companys more than 60 departmental users to keep systems up and running.
