Design and Graphic Art of Monterrey Installs Mitsubishi Diamond 3000LS
Friday 18. July 2008 - Mexico Design and Graphic Art of Monterrey, a 21-year-old commercial printing company, has added a Mitsubishi Diamond 3000LS sheetfed press to its equipment lineup.
The highly automated five-color, 40-inch press features an inline coating unit and delivery extension. The Mitsubishi IPC II intelligent press control provides touch screen control of all press functions for makeready, startup, job changeover and quality assurance. Design and Graphic Art of Monterrey is able to offer its clients faster turnarounds and greater quality as a result of the installation.
Design and Graphic Art of Monterrey was established in 1987 by Everardo Garza Heron with a manual press, a duplicator and one employee. The company primarily printed stationery and invitations.
Today, husband-and-wife team Eugenio and Laura Garza own the firm. They cater to a wide range of print buyers, including leaders in the Mexico manufacturing industry. Such well-known corporations as Cemex S.A.B. de C.V., Vitro S.A. de C.V., FEMSA and Organización Soriana S.A.B. de C.V. are among the printer’s many clients.
Suntek, Mitsubishi’s sales affiliate in Mexico, coordinated the installation of the Diamond 3000LS.
