Caraustar Announces Price Increase on All Paperboard-Based Converted Products

Friday 11. July 2008 - Caraustar Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSAR) announced that it will increase prices on all paperboard-based converted products by 6% effective with shipments on and after August 11, 2008.

Steven L. Kelchen, vice president, Converted Products Group, stated, “These increases are driven by higher input costs, resulting in part from higher energy, chemical and transportation prices.”
