Screen at drupa

Tuesday 08. July 2008 - The centerpiece of the Screen booth was the Truepress Jet2500UV wide-format inkjet press with the highest image quality in its class for POP ads, wide-format indoor displays, banners and posters.

Live printing onto both roll and board-type media highlighted its quality and performance.
The Truepress Jet650UV is the new UV inkjet alternative for screen printing and pad printing in industrial applications. Displayed for the first time at Drupa, the Truepress Jet650UV printed an automobile speedometer, beverage cans, plastic ID cards and more to emphasize its precision and support for a diverse array of printing media. While digital printing technology was the major attraction, the Screen booth saw a record number of graphics industry professionals gravitating toward the CTP area. Screen is the world’s leading CTP supplier, with more than a 30 percent market share and a portfolio to suit all requirements for commercial, newspaper and flexo applications.
Screen introduced the PlateRite Ultima 40000 and PlateRite Ultima 48000 series. These ultralarge-format platesetters let users achieve the highest level of productivity possible from the newest generation of 80-page and 96-page commercial web offset presses.
