Kodak Partners with the Direct Marketing Alliance to Bring the Power of Variable Data Communications to its Customers
Wednesday 02. July 2008 - Kodak has entered into a relationship with the Direct Marketing Alliance (the Alliance) to assist printers in building their digital print businesses.
This relationship provides users of KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses and KODAK INSITE Desktop Software a valuable opportunity to join the Alliance, and in so doing gain access to the resources and expertise necessary to provide leading one to one marketing services and strategies to their customers.
The goal of the Alliance is to broaden the opportunities within the print industry by enabling its members to look beyond traditional print to the advantages of data driven cross media communications. Research has proven that truly personalized relevant marketing campaigns vastly improve customer response, ultimately giving the marketer or retailer a much higher ROI.
“This relationship with the Alliance is another step in the realization of Kodaks Graphic Community strategy,” explained David Wigfield, Managing Director, United States and Canada, Kodaks Graphic Communications Group. “Members of the Alliance will be able to leverage the strength of Kodaks Graphic Community and the INSITE Software workflow infrastructure to provide access to a leading marketing services agency through its collaborative web to print environment.”
The Alliance is the result of a relationship established between its founding members, DME of Daytona Beach, Fla. and Corporate Press of Landover, Md. Through the Alliance, members will have access to a virtual sales force, extensive intellectual resources and the necessary skills to enable commercial printers to make the transition to marketing service providers. The Alliance provides its members with prospecting and retention protocols, consulting to determine best client opportunities and the necessary tools for effective data driven marketing implementation. The Alliance utilizes KODAK INSITE Software as the infrastructure for its membership to share and exchange information.
“We are thrilled to have reached an arrangement that advances the power of integrated cross media communications, moving our ideas from imagination to implementation,” stated Alin Jacobs, President of the Direct Marketing Alliance.
