PrintCity Alliance Celebrates Successful drupa

The PrintCity Alliance has had its most successful show ever at the drupa exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany, May 29 to June 11.

Thursday 12. June 2008 - The PrintCity Alliance has had its most successful show ever at the drupa exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany, May 29 to June 11.

With over 40 members and partners exhibiting in Hall 6, the show traffic was so high that PrintCity had to reprint its Hall 6 GUIDEs half way through the show, due to strong demand.

The drupa show has seen great success for alliance members with many orders and future prospects.

Highlights of PrintCity Alliance Hall 6 activities included seven Competence Centres and two special attractions – the Print4Life Lounge and the new PRINTplusX project, both targeted at Print Buyers, Brand Owners, Designers and Publishers.

The PrintCity Forum has hosted regular live presentations introducing alliance activities, projects and publications. Some of these presentations included interviews with PrintCity member executives including manroland, Sun Chemical, UPM, Océ, Jura and Sappi.

PrintCity President John Dangelmaier made these closing comments as drupa 2008 ended, “PrintCity has celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2008 with its best drupa show ever.

“Our alliance has grown in continuous member activity in recent years but we are always pleased to be exhibiting as a world leading group of networking businesses focused on print here at drupa. We look forward now to drupa 2012……!”
