Haas AG at drupa

Monday 26. May 2008 - Together with company Haas AG from Switzerland we will show for the first time a new solution of finishing.

Company Haas AG developed an UV coating and primer machine for smaller and average quantities, for the digital printing and also offset printing.

The modular computer-controlled UV coating and primer machine appliqués full automatic and full surface through a high quality raster cylinder. Important at the construction of the machine was the easy handling and short set up time. The operator can adjust the settings at the integrated touch screen panel and symbols keep through the menu. The feeding of the paper to be effected on a flat stable unit and for smaller quantities a simple feeder can be also used.


The coated sheets will be cured by a Kühnast UV-Quickstart belt dryer.

This UV-Quickstart belt dryer was special adapted to the UV coating machine. The system works with a drying width of 400 mm and a power of 8 kW. That means 200 W/cm. The power is reducible to 50 %. Both units are connected by an interface and the UV-Quickstart belt dryer will be controlled of the touch screen panel of the UV coating machine. UV-Quickstart systems reached the full UV power into 3 seconds after the lamp start.

More exhibit which will present: UV lamps, UV measuring units and our new developed UV power control unit.

With this unit the UV power of the lamps can be record. The unit is equipped with a control system including an operating panel and metering units. For each UV lamp will need one metering unit. The UV power control unit is more extensible. Also it is possible to request the details online, if a modem is integrated. In larger productions where many UV systems will used, the UV power control unit can be placed centrally.
