HUMANEYES TECHNOLOGIES TO LAUNCH PRODUCER3D – A NEW REVOLUTION IN LENTICULAR PRINTING AT DRUPA 2008

Monday 21. April 2008 - Leading lenticular 3D software developer, HumanEyes Technologies, announces it will be introducing its latest software solution - Producer3D - at DRUPA 2008.

The innovative new software solution is set to change the face of lenticular printing by offering an impressive array of new lenticular tools and ‘industry first’ prepress features that aim to simplify the preprint process, greatly improve lenticular productivity and provide superior lenticular print quality. Producer3D, which will replace HumanEyes 1.3 currently embedded in the PrintPro 2.0 product family, has been chosen for live lenticular printing demonstrations by five partners on their stands throughout DRUPA 2008.

Says Duby Hodd, CEO, HumanEyes: “Producer3D is a breakthrough in lenticular printing and once again demonstrates that HumanEyes continues to lead the market in the development of ground-breaking lenticular and 3D solutions. The extensive range of new features we have built into this dynamic product will be unveiled at DRUPA 2008 to show Producer3D is an excellent lenticular workflow proposition for every digital and commercial litho printer looking to grow his business through investing in strong, innovative technologies. HumanEyes’ promise to its customers is that the productivity gains and ease of use offered by Producer3D will enable all print houses to quickly and easily adopt and use market-leading lenticular technology.”

Continues Mr Hodd: “HumanEyes Technologies is the first company to successfully integrate such an extensive range of tools and prepress features into lenticular and 3D printing software. This software has all been developed to offer maximum productivity; reduce both time and costs when printing lenticular and open up exciting new revenue streams for print houses. Producer3D presents an enormous opportunity for printers to move quickly and cost-effectively into new markets.”

This is a view supported by Simon Joy, production manager at Reflex Printed Plastics in the United Kingdom, who was involved in beta testing the new lenticular software: “HumanEyes has listened to customers and developed a software that is very easy to use and offers considerable productivity gains in the lenticular printing process through the simplifying of the user interface. The level of functionality is exceptional for lenticular software and has the potential to open doors to a lot of new market sectors for those who use the software to its full capacity.”

PRODUCER3D TO BE DEMONSTRATED BY FIVE INDUSTRY LEADERS AT DRUPA
Continues Mr Hodd: “All our printing partners have been very impressed with Producer3D and were eager to host the solution on their booths. The fact that we are now the lenticular partner of choice for a growing number of companies who are leaders in their respective fields shows both the inherent versatility of our products and the belief these major players have in our technology.

“Live printing demonstrations of Producer3D will be given throughout DRUPA on HumanEyes Technologies’s partner stands including HP; KBA; Océ Display Graphics Systems; Fujifilm and Gandinnovations. All these companies will be demonstrating Producer3D and printing 3D lenticular posters and banners using our products at DRUPA and we are looking forward to working with them to show how lenticular technology can offer the printer new opportunities for additional revenue streams.”

Producer3D, which will be available from Q3 2008, is to be bundled with HumanEyes’s Creative3D and HumanEyes 3D photography engine, ensuring customers have the complete package for lenticular file creation and print production.
