Inventive Designers tested and approved by leading research agency

Thursday 10. April 2008 - Companies seeking flexible document software

The Belgian Inventive Designers, specialised in the development of software which allows companies to communicate with customers in a personalised way, were evaluated by the research agency Madison Advisors. The assessment fits within a comparative study of the document solutions market and demonstrates that companies are looking for software that is easy to use. Scriptura, the flagship product of Inventive Designers is poised to emerge “strong and competitive” according to Madison Advisors research.

Madison Advisors is a major American market research agency for the print and electronic communication sector. The agency recently performed a comparative study of the market of document composition solutions. The study offers companies the most objective overview possible of this market. Geert Segers, Marketing Coordinator at Inventive Designers: “Of course it is fantastic that we were asked by a prominent research agency to participate in an international study of this size. It also gives the internationalization of Inventive Designers an extra boost.”

The most important finding of the research is that companies in their customer communication are looking for flexible document solutions which can be deployed in multiple ways. The title of the study is “Document Composition Market Study” (Third Edition) and is available via http://www.madison-advisors.com/products.html.

One of those who carried out the study was Richard Huff, a Madison Advisors analyst. He came to the Hoboken-based Inventive Designers in order to perform a technical analysis of the company. Richard Huff: “Madison Advisors believes in Scriptura of Inventive Designers. The software is based on open standards such as XML, XSL-FO, and SOAP and thus facilitates integration and interoperability. After all, these two characteristics constitute the basic requirements for interactive applications.”

Inventive Designers was the sole Belgian company to be included in this study. Joke Dehond, Business Development Manager at Inventive Designers, explains: “It is quite unique that an American agency like Madison Advisors comes for its study to what is, all things considered, a rather small Antwerp company. This shows that, in our fourteen years of existence, we have become – in part thanks to contracts with the United Nations, US Postal, SunCorp and others – a major international player.”
