Enhancements to KODAK i1800 Series Scanners Help Businesses Advance Scanning Productivity
Friday 07. March 2008 - KODAK i1840 and i1860 Series Scanners now include more functions for improving how businesses can capture and manage large volumes of documentation. The ergonomically designed production scanner family now features new capabilities that enhance ease of use and further improve flexibility and productivity.
Auto orientation is also being added to the scanners. This new feature will rotate each image based on document content, saving time and labor previously required for presorting. Kodak will make auto orientation available at no charge for existing i1800 Series Scanners via a download from www.kodak.com.
Image addressing, patch reading and batching have also been added to the i1840 Scannerall in response to customer requests for added functionality on this 160 pages per minute model. The enhancements and auto orientation will be available in early March 2008.
