Océ announces it will work with NEPS, LLC to deliver TransPromo development services. As adoption of this powerful application grows, Océ is positioning its customers to capitalize on the emerging TransPromo opportunities. NEPS is a provider of communications management software and services focused on the financial, insurance and health care industries.
Océ and NEPS will work together to advance the transformation of the statement and transaction printing market through joint marketing and education initiatives. Both companies will look to develop additional services that make sense for the market and to ensure effective results that drive customer engagements.
“As personalization becomes more critical to marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) strategies, Océ customers will improve their time to market with effective personalized communications,” said Mal Baboyian, President, Production Printing Systems, Océ North America. “These new services will assist our customers in transforming their applications to improve their return on investment for all of our print solutions, including monochrome, highlight color and full color.”
“Personalized communications provide an opportunity for customers to improve both bottom line and top line results through more efficient, effective document production,” said Bill Lowe, CEO of NEPS, LLC. “Taking full advantage of this opportunity requires a wide range of services, software and print systems. Working with Océ, our information designers can recommend color based on the needs of each application, targeting a range of devices from highlight color, blending of custom highlight colors or full process color with process color images.”
NEPS offerings will join the suite of Océ TransPromo Application Development Services as part of Océ Professional Services. The wide-ranging agreement includes bundled and custom offerings covering strategy, design, research, usability testing, staging and hosting. Additional NEPS offerings will be added as needs dictate. Art Plus Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEPS will help Océ provide a range of services including:
Design of business communications that are simple, personal, clear and effective
Application development and design optimization for fastest production workflow
Campaign and statement messaging strategy for effective personalization
User experience research and document usability testing

“We are pleased to have been selected for this strategic partnership by Océ, and look forward to leveraging our combined expertise to create innovative solutions for the benefit of our mutual customers,” added Elizabeth Gooding, President of Art Plus Technology.
Customers will engage Océ and Art Plus Technology at the new Océ Customer Experience Center, allowing rapid prototyping and the opportunity to explore an array of possibilities for TransPromo communications. Customers can test applications in real time on Océ JetStream full color ink jet systems or any Océ print solutions. As a result, they can take advantage of the Océ Job Appropriate Color approach and select the color technology best suited to their business goals.
“Our goal is to support Océ customers with development services to transform their applications, and we are proud to work with such well-respected companies as NEPS and Art Plus Technology. This relationship will offer customers thought leadership in production printing helping our customers meet the demands for TransPromo communications,” Baboyian added.
