JustSystems Highlights Content Reuse Strategies at the AIIM International Exposition and Conference
Tuesday 04. March 2008 - Presentation With EMC to Reveal How Companies Can Reduce Translation, Localization, and Maintenance Costs Through Content Reuse
JustSystems, Inc., the largest independent software vendor in Japan and a worldwide leader in XML and information management technologies, today announced that the company will share strategies for improving content reuse at the AIIM International Exposition and Conference. The event is being held March 3-6, 2008, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Mass.
Paul Masalsky, information architect for EMC, and Paul Wlodarczyk, vice president, solutions consulting for JustSystems, will speak at the session titled, “The Design, Creation and Maintenance of Technical Content in a Corporate-Wide XML Authoring Environment,” on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. The speakers will closely examine:
— XML-based strategies for document management
— How to use the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) to create topic-based content that is easily “chunked” and managed
— The dynamic customization of documents through various applications and the automatic publishing of rendered copy to company Web sites
“Today’s organizations often struggle to manage, maintain and reuse enterprise content assets, in large part because of how content is originally authored,” said Jake Sorofman, senior vice president of marketing and business development for JustSystems. “By implementing an effective content reuse plan based on the DITA standard, organizations can take advantage of dynamic content which ultimately reduces costs associated with translation, localization and maintenance.”
