Fujifilm Launches New Module for Taskero Universe

Wednesday 13. February 2008 - New Server Performance Monitoring Tool Keeps Business-Critical Technology Running At Peak Performance

FUJIFILM Graphic Systems U.S.A., Inc. announced today the commercial launch of a new module ˆ Server Performance Monitoring ˆ for its web-based monitoring solution, Taskero Universe.

Server Performance Monitoring is the latest addition to the suite of process control products, including Colorpath Verified and Hardware Monitoring, under the Taskero Universe umbrella.

The web-based approach of the new Server Performance Monitoring provides users with central management and administration for an entire IT infrastructure, including security and early warnings regarding potential failures in a system, all from the convenience of the user’s own network connection. Users are also able to access this information in-house and at remote locations.

An alternative to the conventional time-consuming and expensive break/fix approach to IT support, the Server Performance Monitoring module proactively alerts users to technical problems which prevent network downtime from occurring. Taskero Universe’s Server Performance Monitoring also helps achieve strong returns on investments in technology, and avoids the business costs that arise when systems or devices fail.

The new module makes the surveillance of networks and workstations affordable and accessible to smaller companies, reassuring that your network is up and running at peak performance. Your business depends on your network’s availability, performance, and security ˆ and your software is business-critical. Server Performance Monitoring brings the predictable hardware failures to light, before they stop your production.

Taskero Universe also features a Colorpath Verified module that prevents printers from sending out proofs and plates that do not meet the specification of printers or their customers.

In addition, the Taskero Universe Hardware Monitoring module, monitors both hardware and the environment and will give users early notification of possible CTP and processor problems, enabling them to take action before the problem unexpectedly stops production, streamlining the process all the way to the pressroom.
