Spandex Invites Digital Print And Signmaking Businesses To Learn, Discover And Benefit Via Series Of Free Open House Events

The Mutoh Blizzard will be among those products showcased at Spandex UK’s forthcoming open house events.’

Friday 18. January 2008 - Spandex, the pioneering one-stop supplier of complete and innovative solutions to the digital printing and signmaking industries, has announced dates for a series of highly informative and free-of-charge open house events in the UK during March and April.

Targeted both at existing and potential customers, the events will follow the theme of ‘Learn, Discover and Benefit’ and are intended to advise signmakers and digital printers of the many advantages and techniques available to enhance their service offering, as well as how to boost profit.

Given the popularity of its previous open houses, Spandex is advising those interested to book early in order to secure a place at the events; which will take place in Bristol, 4th -5th March; Manchester, 11th – 12th March; and Basildon on 1st -2nd April. The company will showcase its extensive range of wide-format inkjet printing solutions from leading industry manufacturers, as well as new products from the company’s sign systems and materials portfolio. These will include Mutoh’s high-performance, variable drop, mild-solvent Blizzard and cost-effective, user-friendly, ValueJet series of printers; as well as information on the Gerber Solara ion flatbed/roll-to-roll wide-format UV inkjet printer.

The two-day events will also include seminars designed to offer practical advice for improving business performance and adding value. These will cover such useful topics as Advanced Colour Management and Profiling; The Advantages of UV Printing; and Onyx Workflow Management. An additional highlight of the speaker programme will see author and marketing consultant, Jackie Jarvis, deliver a presentation entitled ‘Get set for marketing success’, which will include the opportunity for a one-to-one marketing consultation.

Spandex will hold interactive workshops focussing on print and banner finishing; textile printing; new techniques in modular sign systems; vehicle wrapping; and Photoshop and image manipulation. In addition, the events will offer delegates the chance to consult the expertise of Spandex material suppliers, including Avery, Mactac, 3M and ImagePerfect. The Spandex materials and sign systems range continues to expand at a rapid rate offering an even wider choice of brands, applications and niche profit opportunities for the graphics professional.
