Konica Minolta Serves as Official Imaging Technology Supplier for Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Golf Tournament
Tuesday 15. January 2008 - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies, today announced it has agreed to be the official technology supplier for the 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, held annually in Palm Springs, Calif.
The 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, a premier Celebrity Pro-Am event will be played this week (January 16-20) over four different desert courses, and will feature 128 top PGA TOUR professionals and 384 amateur contestants, including a stellar list of 30 celebrities. The 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic rotation of golf courses will include: SilverRock Resort, La Quinta Country Club, Arnold Palmer Private Course at PGA West and Classic Club.
Konica Minolta office technology will be used in the tournament scoring trailers and media center. As part of this years event experience, Konica Minolta will exhibit a product showcase adjacent to the 18th hole of the Classic Club; and will feature a participation center where attendees will be able to drive golf balls and receive a digital photo of their swing, produced on Konica Minolta office imaging equipment.
