PROLABdigital IMAGING Introduces ECO-Friendly Bio-Degradable Vinyl Banners

Thursday 10. January 2008 - PROLABdigital IMAGING is proud to announce its capabilities to print vinyl banners on ECO-Friendly, BIO-FLEX, the newest BIO-Degradable Vinyl substrate. PDi specializes in the manufacture of small and large format quality visual graphics nationwide for advertising, events, retail chains, truck-sides, entertainment, corporate, fashion, cosmetic and food industries.

Our wide selection of printing capabilities allows us to print up to 16 feet wide by any length, or tiled together to create even larger Mega-Banners, quantities from 1 to 1000’s of units. The life expectancy of this material on indoor and outdoor use is the same as regular high-grade vinyl and only decomposes in landfill conditions. Clients all over the world use our BIO-Degradable banners for trade shows, in-store, point-of-sales, special event and marketing collateral.

Every year, millions of tons of banners are buried in the earth; taking 500 to 700 years to degrade in landfills worldwide, BIO-Degradable substrates are a step in the right direction to reduce this problem. BIO-Degradable banners will decompose in 3 to 5 years when exposed to conditions in a landfill (darkness, high heat and moisture), where microbes breakdown the BIO-Degradable PVC and turn it in into dust.
